1993

1993 is a collection of interactive poems inspired by the last month of my twenties. The poems explore themes such as grief, ageing and mental health. They use structures such as iambic pentameter, iambic tetrameter, as well as free verse. 

This is a personal project focussing on creative freedom and self-expression. I also experimented with composing music for the poems, and voice acting one of the scenes. A lot of the assets are also photos and videos taken from life, from the events that inspired the poem. 

As they are interactive poems, the project features a lot of text and I tried to find ways to keep this engaging such as through typing effects, puzzles and drag and drop interactivity.
